Technically, he loses his leg in the CERO Z version, but indeed, the game has been altered in a way that sometimes, it doesn't make sense at all.

Hello, You first insert the GBA game you wish you use in the device before plugging it to the console, you toggle the black slider button on "ON" and once everything is good, you simply turn on the console. Basically, it's as simple as you described it. However, to insert cheats, despite having a USB port, I cannot make it work on my PC (probably due of its age), so I recommand typing down the cheats manually via the console itself. I hope it helps. Good luck finding it as the prices aren't low for this device ^^'

Now you know I would say. Even the most gore-ish version of the game in Japan do have some censorships sadly, so us having the western version are lucky to have it ^^

Black screen of death as a way to censor the scene, I swear I though something was wrong with my game or my TV screen when I first discovered it lol I re-did this part to make sure it wasn't a glitch or something, but it wasn't.

Japanese laws and regulations made Capcom release a censored version of some of their games, like RE7, RE8, RE2R, and RE3 remake. I've covered them all on my channel if you're interested in this matter :)

Laws in Japan required some sort of censorship to allow the game to be released there. That's silly at times for us westerners, but that's the main reason why ^^'

I actually did this video (and the others if you haven't checked them yet) because of the actual lack of infos out there. I'm glad it helps others to satisfy their curiosity :) I do use both versions yes, as it features subtles differences worth mentionning. A lot of medias usually focus on one (the Z or D) but rarely do both. I had to buy all the versions on ps4 though, so it wasn't an easy task lol Take care !

The cero D base game cover for me (wich is the artwork featured in the thumbnail) is for me, by far, the best cover. Right after it, however, is the grotesque cover, definetly !

Same here, I always dreamed to play the Japanese version of that game, finally did it some years ago when I learned how to burn PS2 games to a DVD .

That's true about the game, they need to import either the american or the european version to get the full experience. However, they can use their japanese console to play the game since it's region free.

In the base japanese version only of the game, you can unlock and play the stage 10 of the story mode after Kid Buu. Completing this stage rewards you with the Kuriza costume ! :)

ESRB and PEGI versions have the same level of censorships, wich is ... none. So in the video, PEGI is just the equivalent of the ESRB :)
